In Canmore’s real estate market, March 2022 was another seller’s dream, with very few options to purchase and thus few sales. There were 60 listings (again, very low.) Canmore had 69 sales with an average of 17 days on the market (this is nearly one-third the number of days of what Canmore is used to seeing.) The number of sales was down 47% from February 2021, and the days on the market were down 52% at the same time. Homes. Canmore Detached / Townhomes / Duplexes Values
The average detached home sold for $1,807,700, only 27% higher than in March of 2021. Note this is due to a lack of higher-end transactions and very few detached homes on the market. Townhomes give us a much better sense of the significant gains in Canmore real estate values: $929,000, which is 16% higher than March 2021. Duplexes sold for $1,530,400 were 15% higher than in March of 2021.
